What would happen?

Me and a friend were having a debate at work last night. What would happen if you tasered a paralyzed guy in the legs? Would it hurt him at all. I said the electricity goes all through the body so yeah he would feel it, but he was saying it only targets the area it goes in like when you touch a cow fence and it only hurts your hand. ANY THOUGHTS?

it causes all muscles to spasm... his legs would twitch... although he might not feel it in his legs...

Tell him to go pee on an electric fence and ask him if it just hurts his pee since that's all that's touching the fence.

might not feel it in his legs, more then likely he wont. But the parts of his body that still have feeling he most certainly will feel. Ever see the reaction people have when they get hit with a tazer? 250 lb guys freakin the fuck out.

Alot of people paralyzed can still feel their limbs they just can't move them. I'd think he'd definately feel it and their legs would twitch.

I know this. illcul8troffcr is pronounced:

"I'll see you later officer"

As far as whether a Taser will have an effect on a person with paralysis in his legs (if contacted there), remember that Tasers work with electricity. The body is made up of mostly what? Water. Guess what conducts electricity?

Short answer, he'll feel it, although the effects on his legs won't be noticeable.

did it to a homeless guy a few years ago. he twitched like a mofo. we were laughing so hard we fell on our asses
