    4.5L duramax unfortunately has been shelved for a while, but its pretty bad ass...


    the intake pressurizes the valve covers and the cylinders draw air from this pressurized reserve. no intake manifold.



    the exhaust exits into the valley, where the turbo sits. the exhaust 'manifolds' are just a couple inches long.

    310 hp. 520 ft lbs. fits into the footprint of chevy 350. 29,000psi common rail fuel system, injects 5 times per combustion cycle.

    i think i would rather change optispark for the rest of my life then have to tear that engine down once
