    i love you sweet leaf!!!

what kinda gun is this..... ?

well i have this odd ball gun, its either a shit gun or a rifel, i was told that its a 10 gauge, but i have a 12 gauge (old school) pump action w/ clip and the 12ga barrel is bigger than the "10" gauge barrel, i also have a old school chrome/wood scoped, lasered 22 rifel, andthe "10" gauge's barrer is bigger than that ones... wtf do i have?, its about as long as the 12ga and longer than the 22.

and this much i know... but i cant help

it's not scribed onto the barrel? Most guns have it on the barrel. What markings are on the barrel? A 16 gauge would be just a smidge smaller than a 12 and a 20 is about 3/4 the size.

And if its REALLY old, don't shoot it until a gunsmith looks at it. If it's damascus and you use modern loads, you're screwed.

dammit guys!! now i want to see my fucking guns!!! there 300 miles away locked up in my parents house... i shoot it, the ammo was old as fuck.. didnt have any writting on it, i dont remember any of the barrel, the barrel is 2 times bigger than a 22, but about 3.5/4 of the 12, just a smige smaller, but still very noticable, hmm the barrel is black with wood handel.. its been so damn long..... next time il be going home (scedualed anyway) is prolly thanks givving..... blaaa, i do remember tho i was shooting both the 12 and this "10" or whatever it is at the same time, the 22 doesnt shoot (fireing pin) so anyway i was setting up wood aginst a tree, i started with 8 inches of pine wood, both guns cleared it (slugs) then i went to 1 foot, both cleared it, 1.5, both cleared it, 2 feet, 12 ga did not clear, went and stoped at about the 1.6 mark.... the "10" cleared it... since there were so many holes in the tree i couldent point out how far that last one kept going.. but i only had like 5 shells with it, i remember the shell casings were yellow, and about 3/4 the size of the 12ga shell casing, which were red., but the yellows were noticably heavier.

I would say a .410... but those are significantly smaller then a 12ga... maybe a 16ga with a hotter load?

I seriously doubt its a 410. A 410 barrel is about as big as a .45 so use that for reference. Is this gun really old? I can't believe its not stamped on the barrel somewhere. Does it at least have the make or model stamped on it?

Another thing if you're not sure if its a rifle or shotgun just look down the inside of the barrel and see if it has twisting grooves. If so then its a rifle. If its smooth then its a shotgun. Is it single shot, pump, bolt action or what?
