    what is the GREEN plastic washer over my valve stem?

    well its a green valve stem washer behind the cap, i just had that tire patched by belle tire from a nail , could that be it?

    say what? If its the small lil rubber gasket type thing inside the valve cap its there IN CASE you are leaking out of the valve stem. Does it really do anything? Doubt it. If you got a patch on account of a nail, that patch is on the inside of your tire and bonded to the rubber with a galvanizing cement.

    noo, this is basically a plastic washer. it just goes around my valve stem.

    im guessing its a reminder that it has a patch on it, but thought i heard that it could mean that tire has nitrogen.???? dont know, ill try to take a pic for you tommaro when there is light out side

    I believe thats the nitrogen 'tag' but i could be wrong. I've never heard of it denoting a patch?

    You are correct it is for Nitrogen.
