What are the first modifications done to your cars?
...and WILL do to your next car! Cosmetic, Performance, Suspension.
Even though I am all about power, I still must say that the FIRST things I bought for the car, were not HP improvers.
1. 1989 Formula=Limo tint, CD Player, K&N
2. 1994 Mustang GT Convertible=Limo tint, Steeda shifter (that SUCKED), Cold air induction
3. 1999 T/A=Limo Tint, Pro 5.0 shifter, I think the MTi Lid
And guess what, the next car I get, the first mod will be limo tint. It really is the most important thing. I cant own a car without good working tint.

Fuck that. I gotta haul some ass man. Heads/cam/intake/CAI/headers and decent exhaust.....right off the bat....GTO had 200 miles on her when I jerked the heads off her I like window tint as much as the next fella I guess....but I gotta haul ass man....
This is my signature. It is mine. Nobody else has one like it.

Repair headliner, CD Player, Repair T-Top leak, !Mold, Repair Brakes, !Silicon Sealant, Replacing half the wiring, !Duct tape.
Man the previous owner loved using silicon and duct tape to fix things...
And all of that was done before it was legal to drive (Emissions).
You should have seen my drive way during the few months before it was registered; 2 symmetrical black spots from the exhaust where ever you started it up, and foot long tire marks from the mini-burnouts that the car did because the engine revved itself as you shifted from park to drive.

In the past I've started with the breathing and exhaust, gears and tranny then the full on engine mods.....however given the poor state of rear ends and tranny's to take real serious power, i think I'd start at the rearend and go forward..a built 9" with discs, (hooking up and slowing down is important), a 4l80E, rear suspension work, front suspension work, upgraded front brakes, exhaust, Frame work,then the 638 bill mitchel mountain motor...
71 Camaro, roller cam 454 LS6, tremec TKO 600 5 speed, 2.56 gears, berlineta t-top, New Mexico plate "RAT454"
74 Monte Carlo, 95 LT1 drive traIn swap, full computer,
67 Buick Electra 225, 430 tire burner wildcat,
+++if it ain't broke it's breaking+++

Not really a mod but I bought custome embroidered z28 floor mats, it had none and i did't want to f-up the carpet. In my defense the car did already have a lid, cutout and stb when I got it. The second mod was a hooker catback.
