Washed my phone a few days ago.
Yeah so what are the odds I can get my cingular insurance to cover this? I really don't feel like paying the extra money for a new Slvr phone.

God, I thought you were going to tell us that you just learned to sanitize your phone's mouthpiece. Anyways, they should through insurance.

I would just tell them you dropped it on your way to work or something and it got run over.

Say nothing about the washer. Tell them water started coming from within the phone. Demand a new one which you expect doesn't have water inside.

Wonder what cingualrs insurance policy is.......i know nextel charges you $35 for a replacement phone if you lose, break, or gets stolen.

I have cingular, but I don't know the policy. But then again, I was lucky enough to buy a waterless phone

If you have insurance it will be $50.00 deductible tell them you dropped it in the lake. That way you don't have to send it back to them!

The phone seems as dry as it is going to get. I pulled the battery and I cannot see where the little dot is (maybe the soap removed it). The insurance is through cingular (radioshack actually) and they are not suppose to cover water damage. Odds are I'm going to go up there and just say the phone stopped working and hope their is no water dot on the inside of the phone.

does your insurance cover losing it? In my friends insurance if gave him a new phone if he lost the old one. When it started giving him problems he threw it in a lake - told them he lost it - and wham new phone.

When does your contract expire? If its soon tell them you want a new phone at No charge and you will renew your contract.

Sorry about the quality of these pics, the camera on the phone actually has more megapixels than the camera I used to take the pics. Thats not blurred pictures you see, thats bad quiality pictures.
