Sonnen did his thing but made a mistake in the end. Silva took a lot of punishment but still found a way to pull a win.

If Silva gets is sprawl in action that could have been a way different match. Those two should fight again but it wont happen until Silva and Vitor fight.

silva was very lucky he had a quick trigger ref.

as far as i'm concerned, sonnen won. he made anderson look like a novice fighter for 23 minutes.

sonnen tapped, he lost, did he do good, yes. but that is why anderson is the champ, found a way to win.

Guida has been beaten by 2 fighters that fought for the belt and got beat. Guida will need to beat a few more people before he gets a title shot.

On a side note, Guida did the best thing he possibly could by moving to Greg Jackson MMA.

I completely agree he found a way to win. It wasn't luck it was skill that's not just something you know to do it's trained. Granted I hate Silva I was loving watching him get his ass handed to him but it just show's that there is a way to beat him now.

After seeing that fight I think a GSP vs Silva fight would be amazing because GSP has went to such a wrestling heavy game plan hes the perfect candidate to give Silva his first UFC loss and end that 12 fight win streak

there will never be a GSP vs silva fight... Silva already said he will not change weight..

Sonnen vs. Silva part 2, yes that will happen. Watch the post fight press conference on UFC.com. Dana White, said right now they do not know what the plan is but the fans are demanding it. Part 2 will be a 6months to a year out. Could be after Vitor. It might be Vitor vs Sonnen for the belt next year.

Sonnen could have won the belt if he played it cool for the last two minutes and watched the clock like most fighters. Then judges would have decided in sonnens favor. However Sonnen did something better in most peoples eyes, he fought to the end and wanted to destroy silva, regardless of clock watching. Good or bad strategy, he was there too fight hard, and will be around for awhile..
