TS Fay caused our ceiling to leak! Pictures inside
We have rain all the time in Florida, and it never leaked before.
In this picture is the worst of the leak, but there are other wet spots on the ceiling, and bubbles (under the paint) on the wall.
WTF!?!?

Your Fay is like what our Allison was to us. It sucked, and I am sorry to hear that it ruined your house.

Looks like this could be a wet florida thread huh? Elimin8tor dont want to scare you but you have a BIG PROBLEM on your hands man, the rain is coming in threw holes or cracks in the roof and with this rain i say by tonight a BIG chunk of the ceiling is coming down so you might want to start moving stuff out of the way. The wood on the roof is now going to rot and caust you out your ass to fix beleive me i live in Kissimmee and i'm in this wet shit to so i see roof repair in the future for that house

Oh, to the OP: I'll bet money you got the leakthrough because the winds pushed the rain inbetween your shingles, or that you lost a couple.

Bummer, have you been up there to see what other damage there is?
I haven't seen a drop of rain in months! Everything is dry and dead out here.
Hopefully, you can get away with just replacing the dry wall and a few shingles, maybe a sheet of plywood. Good excuse to take out all the popcorn too. We just had to because of a busted pipe...
Hope it doesn't cost you too much.

Good news, the leak is covered by insurance. Only a $500 deductible.
And our neighbors work for a roofing company.
