    is it true?

heard somewhere that the gas cap is on the opposite side of the exhaust. Excluding duel exhaust cars, if your exhaust is on the left side then the gas cap is on the right side.

so far i haven't found any cars with both on one side.

I believe the '98 Trans Ams had single out exhaust on the driver's side (same side as the gas tank filler neck).

We own a car dealership with around 40-50 cars on it. I just walked around the entire lot and looked at them all. EVERY one of them are on opposite sides. Maybe there's some truth to it

Edit: Other than '98 trans ams apparently and I don't have any here to check

I don't know but if you use the sniper rifle to shoot the gas filler cap, the car will explode, every time, all the time.

Only with phospherous tracing rounds. And a remote detonator on the gas tank. Then.... maybe.

If you use the cheat code for the exploding sniper rifle bullets, you can shoot the the car anywhere and it will blow up

True, but you get a much better badass "fuck yea" attitude from pulling off a gas filler door shot.

Good point! Even more so if the car is moving and you time it just right

Not true, well maybe todays cars it holds true but I had a truck that was dual tank and it had a filler neck on both sides as well as the exaust . the older GM cars had the filler neck behind the license plates in between the exaust.

My first '72 c10 longbed had dual saddle tanks originally (were removed) with the factory exhaust being on the left. But the main tank was behind the seat so they probably could give no fewer shits

I bought a new 98 TA. It had dual exhaust tips. They were cast aluminum.

However, I do believe the 98 WS6 indeed had a single outlet on the driver's side. It was a straight pipe and looked goofy.
