+1 the 4l60's are ok transmissions but tend to get weak after 100k miles, I'm gonna be in the same boat as you here before long if I keep pulling stuff

Beast sun shell, better bands and clutches? A tune to eliminate torque management and up pressure and reduce time it takes to shift will help your next one live much longer.

way to go carp, captain obvious... lol
after looking into some of this, a sun shell will pry be in order, also a tune, but i think just because its the dd that i have no high horse goals, wont say a diablo handheld tuner adjust torque management and line pressure?

I'd get a black bear tune instead, I have heard nothing but good things about them on the late model GM truck forums I roam on. If I were you i'd go ahead and give them a shot instead, they seem to be very good with late model GM trucks, again, all I ever hear about them is positive feedback.
If I ever get my funding together I'll probably be getting one for mines also (114k miles).
