Don't use torrents. They're too easily traced.

Upload sites are the best. Just go to google and search the following string

[album name] site:[upload site]

For example if I wanted to download Lights' album "The Listening" the search query would be

The Listening site:mediafire.com

And as you see, the first result is the download link for the album:

http://www.google.com/#sclient=psy&h...32b8af52b7e0b8

Hard to get caught this way.

It's just a website that users can upload files to. Any types of files. Notably, for this topic, albums can be hosted in compressed zip/rar files.

There are loads of different upload websites you can use. If you can't find an album, try a different website.

megaupload.com

There are lots.

I used to use Rhapsody. 10 bucks a month and you can burn the songs. I think it was a pretty good legal alternative...

The only thing I download in torrents currently is tv episodes. I believe Hollywood goes after song and movie downloaders but so far tv shows are off their radar, especially as most/many of em are recordings from broadcasts rather than dvd rips... I hope I don't find out one day that I was wrong...

Pay for rapidshare and I get 1.2 megs a second. Only get busted if u seed huh? Tell that to the customers that I bust on a daily basis at my job. Maybe you should get a clue before u call other people dumbasses.
