I kinda figured the f1 was going to pull hard on the bugatti at first but didnt think it was going to be that much.

Top gears require alot of horse power to pull hard.. The Bugatti has the ponies to pull at 100mph +. Not a surprise to me..

The official time slips say the Bugatti is faster in the 60ft/1/8th mile/and quarter mile. The Bugatti is AWD too.. I think the drivers let off in the start and spiced the drag for more drama..

I sense major driver error at launch in that vid.. The Bugatti should have pulled on the F1 the entire time according to the official specs..?????????????

I def dont think so, cause the f1 does 246mph and the bugatti only does 256 which is 10mph faster so that even out about right!!

the guy driving the F1 is a formula 1 driver, the guy wdriving the veyron isnt. lol. i think they did that on purpose so the F1 would have an advantage to make up for the HP deficit.

I'm not picking you because I am well aware that Top Gear is an entertainment show first and a car show second (I'm a big fan of the show) and might actually stage the race to make it appear closer.

However, I don't think driver error could be the cause for a close race. The Veyron is an automatic (in the sense it doesn’t have a clutch pedal), all wheel drive car, it is not a driver’s car. All you have to do to go fast is put your right foot down.

Ok, let me re-phrase then, how about "Driver Failure" then?... He didn't press the pedal all the way to the floor at launch.
