    2001 Camaro SS

    Ticket in somebody elses car....

    I live in California and my friend just got a ticket in somebody elses car. My buddy shows up as driving on the ticket and my buddy as the registered owner. The registered owner should not find out about this unless my friend does not pay the ticket. Right???? Just looking for a little peace of mind. I probably posted this in the wrong section, but I was just wondering.

    It doesnt effect the owner of the car.. it effects the person who got ticketed.. he handed the license to the cop and thats who was ticketed.. so only the person who got the ticket has anything to worry about unless it was unoccupied and the car got a parking ticket or something .. but if the person got a ticket then that wouldnt apply

    Agreed unless its a parking ticket and it goes unpaid the owner will not know.
