Thinking about a New 1LT or 2LT
Well I'm getting tired of looking at the New Camaro's and not having one. I'd like to have a 1SS or a 2SS but I'm not willing to part with $35,000 I don't have nor Pay the Outrageous Insurance. Today in a couple hours I'm going to test Drive a Red 1LT RS 6 Speed manual. It's not the color I desire though but the Mechanics are what I'm looking for. 2 Weeks to get a Special order 6 cylinder, not bad. I'm thinking Aqua Blue or Black.
If anyone has anything to add about the LT models Please do so, especially if you have one.
I have fast cars already and this would be a cruiser that gets driven on the weekends occasionally.

How does the insurance look for you per month?

Waiting on a call back right now. My agent did say the V8 models would be about double what I'm paying for my 91 Vette. Full coverage on V8 about $1400 a year. Hopefully the 6 will be considerably less. I have a Clean Record too!

Insurance is not cheap here in northern Indiana, and the fact that I have a 16 year old that just totaled my car in the avatar doesn't help cause she's on my policy.

Black- 1999 Camaro Z28
Wow now I understand. Yeah I'd go for the V6 then. It seems like the smart thing to do.

Went and drove the 2LT and was very impressed. I didn't get to put it through any corners pulling G's but got to feel Full acceleration through the first 3 Gears(was a manual 6 speed). Acceleration was unreal for a 6 cylinder. The one I drove is for sale but the next 4 cars coming in at the local dealership are sold. The 5th car is another story, it's build date is August 3rd, and should be delivered on the 10th. It's a Black 2SS 6 speed with no extra options. The car I want is an Aqua Blue RS 2LT, to have it built would take approximately 10 weeks. Now to sell the Vette.
