Technicians/Auto service people, dumb customer storys
Didn't want to turn the other thread away from the original topic.
I've been working on cars since about 1993 starting out as a tire buster then installer then mechanic working my way up to technician.
and I have a ton of funny storys of idiot customers, and I know others have to have them too
here a couple I wrote in the other thread
lets hear 'em

I work at a school bus depot. The dumbest complaint I've heard from a driver was "tires need hair". I don't think anything can ever beat that, in terms of sheer stupidity.

LMAO.
I remember I was at autozone once because my friend worked there and I was just chillin with him and he got someone come up to him saying his exhaust was broken and that he thinks he needs a new muffler bearing LMAO
(BTW it was a V6 camaro with duel exhaust and a fucked up cat)

lol thats what I was thinking or was a customer from www.kalecoauto.com
but surprisingly his "mechanic" told him that. We were messing with him so much telling him that his car must be a beast a whole 3.8 liter and he was telling us it hauls ass all the time and smoked unbelievable cars. Pretty much a domestic ricer.

I just did a set of brakes on a 93 f150. I pulled the passenger tire off and the pads were gone. The only thing left were the backing plates and it had ground down through the rivets. I asked the guy how long it'd been since he had the brakes done. He said never. Mileage on truck.....310,000. Still on the original clutch too.
