Ta Flame Job
My boys want to get me some flame job graphics for my b-day. I've seen a couple cars that look good. My car is white, and I was thinking about a very subtle silver, with a little color at the tips. Can anybody help me, or point me in the right direction ? Thanks

well mods always get out of hand .. then you'd have to get flame gauges .. flame bezels .. James Bond flamethrowers ..
and a flaming hot tiger skin to ride shotgun is always a special treat ..

how about something more subtle, like this...j/k
unless you do it yourself, flames can cost big bucks. I got a quote a long time ago and the guy wanted $2-3K depending on the complexity of the job.

Hmmm.... Lavallee actually painted the car pictrured above.
Lavallee began by painting out a "road map" of where he will paint the fire as he progresses.
After laying out his base pattern, Lavallee applied a coat of candy-apple red.
Lavallee shifted to his original orange color to redefine some of his earlier flames. He tried to not paint directly over the original flames, opting to apply this layer at a slightly different angle to show a little more detail.
Lavallee applied a shade of "candy" orange to start toning down the flames.
Lavallee cools down his color mix, applying yellow and white. He sprayed in what he calls a "controlled random" pattern, meaning that he tries not to conceal flames he's already airbrushed.
He finished his airbrushing process by applying touches of white-hot color to the Deuce Coupe's front end.

These are the flames on my WS6. These are pretty subtle. A blue flame would look good on a white car also. As for Mike Lavallee, he is a good friend of mine and when you want the best you will always pay a little more. It's no different then the parts people buy for there cars.
