Stereo ?
Whats the flashing warning light on a stereo for? and can it drain your battery?

1997 Grand Cherokee- 1999 Firebird.
It lets the thieves know where your stereo is, and it can drain about 5 batteries a year.

If it's the factory HU it lets you know that a security code has been entered. If you disconnect the battery you will have to enter the code to unlock the HU when you reconnect the battery.
