Red Tint Jewelcoat- 2008 Trailblazer SS
Stencils...
Okay, this is kinda lame, but I want to go something on the airbox lid of the T/A.
Lid will be flat black, lettering will be a deep silver.
Not sure where to get the outline, or exactly what to put on the lid.
Ideas on either?
I was thinking something simple....maybe...

this was just a piece of scrap aluminum I used to prove-out my air-box lid plaque. It looks wayyy better polished to a mirror finish and the impressions filled in with black acrylic paint.

Puts something here, since he has me ignored.
Hmmm, I think slowass is a good idea. Because you want people to ask qeastions and to think twice.

Here's what I have...
Painted the lid black on the front, taped a firebird logo on top of the black once it dried, painted the rest of the lid white. Remove logo and done

What's a good paint to use on the plastics. I'm wanting to also paint the air lid base/radiator support. Looks worn out and faded

Krylon Fusion has worked well for me the few times that I have used it on plastic. Surface prep is the key. Be sure to use a wax and grease remover or some other mild solvent to completely clean the surface before paint. Also, as plastic has a static quality to it, a tack clothe and dust free environment will assure you the best results.
