Spring Carlisle -- with pics.
Spent the last 3 days at Carlisle and had a great time. In addition to the usual parts, tools and garage supplies, I came home with a car from there for the first time. I posted the details in this thread: http://www.ls1.com/forums/showthread.php?t=135740 Saw a whole lot of cool cars, ran into one other site member at the UMI booth, and enjoyed a gyro for lunch every day -- one of my favorite things to do there. Other than a minor mess up at our hotel... "But sir, you called and cancelled your reservation." And then two other stories she made up trying to explain why we didn't have a room despite the faxed confirmation in my hand, it was a good trip. Here are the pics:
Started by looking at a '70 Buick GS Stage 1 that the seller wanted $54,000 for.
Nice Pace Car for $20,000.
Pics of various cars around the fairgrounds.
Here's a 1,900 original mile 30th Anniversary Edition. Asking $26,500 for it.
Almost forgot, I also happened to run into Eliminator and his friend on Saturday.
Yes, I know the pics are all GM products as that is where our interests are. I'll try to do better next time and mix it up a bit.

Some more pics:
I just think these are neat -- De Tomaso Pantera, with what I believe is a Ford 351 behind the seats. You can see the air cleaner assembly poking up over the rear deck.
^^ This last car was a bit of an oddity -- had both coilovers and leaf springs and the rear was off center quite a bit to the right.

Phantom Black Metallic- 2004 GTO M6
Awesome pics Jeff. That GN is money right there as there weren't many offered in T-Top form. All those cars are worthy IMO.

Nice pics. I'm kinda partial to the Hurst Olds too. My bro has an 84 with an Olds 350.

Hurst Olds, Grand National, Monte Carlo SS -- all cars I have wanted to own for years. On the Olds, the lightening rod shifters are super cool imo.
