Sorry we don't need your Jesus toys.
Jesus dolls rejected from Toys for Tots program
Bible-quoting toymaker surprised its offer of 4,000 dolls was turned down.
Button-activated Jesus dolls that recite Scripture, from the Beverly Hills Teddy Bear Co.'s Messenger of Faith line of products, were offered to the Marine Reserves’ Toys for Tots program.
LOS ANGELES - A company that sells Bible-quoting Jesus dolls said it was surprised and disappointed that the Marine Reserves’ Toys for Tots program turned down its offer to donate 4,000 of the talking dolls.
“I believe as a churchgoing person, anyone can benefit from hearing the words of the Bible,” said Michael La Roe, director of business development for Valencia-based Beverly Hills Teddy Bear Co. and its one2believe division, which makes the line of Bible character dolls.
Bill Grein, vice president of Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, in Quantico, Va., said the offer was turned down because Toys for Tots doesn’t know anything about the religious affiliations of the children who receive its gifts.

Hmmm.... Dolls of Christ to kids for Christmas... I don't see the problem. If they don't believe in Christ, why are they celebrating Christmas. They can try to take Christ out of Christmas but that what it's all about!

blacker than wesleysnipes- 98' trans am
well i'm sure the SA is doing it to be safe..if for any reason they handed out ali or budda dolls to kids for a holiday, then the christian right would be all up on that ass like young boys in a nc-17 flick. some people celebrate christmas becuase it brings families together and it is a gov't holiday but i agree with you, i always go to xmas mass and i try not to lose sight of the real meaning.

Well if they gave away Allah dolls they'd all have to kill each other, just like the shit about the cartoons... oh wait, they do that anyway.
