Sold the Z and NWS

After my window got shot out a few months back I realized my car is pretty much ignored and neglected. I cleaned up the car and got it looking good again and sold it. I sold it to my nephew for $4k. He got a good deal and I got a pretty fair price. He'll have a great time in it and give it some TLC.

It's out of state so I took it on a short road trip to meet him 1/2 way. He'll love it.

My niece (a cousin of his) is dating a cop in his town so we've asked him to pull him over and give him huge amounts of crap and prank him a bit. Should be fun

Anyway, I'm somewhat sad to see it go. I bought it new 11 years and 10 months ago. I got more than 106K miles of fun from it. I'm happy it went to someone that'll still let me take it for a spin when I go out.

I had put a mild cam and higher flow heads on it. For a while, I had it tuned for e85. That was a whole lot of fun, but I also had to fill up WAY too often. With heads/cam/e85 I dyno'd at 330+ hp (at the wheel). I got pulled over plenty of times and got out of most of the tickets. I did get a doosey of a ticket for racing - sad thing is, I only went through 1st gear to shut a shit talkin' ricer up. Good thing he didn't see some of the other crazy shit I did in that car. BTW, the speedo reads 155, they go faster. I don't recommend it.

I got a lot of living done in that car. I also learned the value of good credit (financed at the end of the lease for 21.9% for a short time).

Anyway, that's my ramble about my car. I'll still lurk/post around here. Why stop a 10 year addiction? Life wouldn't be the same with out the random funny picture thread (which you guys seriously need to get on the ball and step it up a bit).

Yes I will. I keep thinking of getting an older Viper.

I just bought a home. We're closing Monday. That's the important thing to do right now. I have a 3 car garage that will look empty with out some other car in it.
