So I randomly walked out to my car after I let my dad drive it for the second time while I've owned the car ( he got it professional detailed for me and put a full tank of 93 octane in it and I hope it was just a considence. but I noticed a fucking thumb sized dent in the rear quarter panel. I've never noticed it before. So I don't know if it happened while I was driving it or my dad. I'm just really pissed off. I try to take such good care of my car and shit like this happens .

rawr rawr rawr rawr . ok I feel better.

I'm going to try to take off some interior panels and see if I can push it and pop it out. it looks possible.

These are called birthing dimples and most 4th gens have them from the factory.

It is a mounting point for the body or some such BS.

I wouldn't try to fix it yourself. It seems easy but I tried myself and just made it worse. Get a professional paintless dent removal guy to do it if you really care about the car.

well my birthing marks or whatever the hell they're called were caused by a Dodge Caravan and a Lincoln...the worst part is seeing it happen and being powerless to do anything about it

maybe thats why dad filled her up with 93 before bringing her home?? i always think negatively but i would hope my dad would tell me if he dented my car
