NO way. oO Ate shrimp all my life in every which way. Even when I eat them raw, I still pull the tails off (and the shells and legs if they are still on).

I could go for some good scallops or crab legs. We have this awesome chinese place that at dinner time is all you can eat. Shrimp, crab legs, beef etc...

i went to hooters last night. 1 pound of crab legs for $7.99. great deal!!!!! and ate some wings and onion rings too. good meal.

anyways, i have never eaten a tail. sometimes, i accidentally get a little piece of shell in my mouth, and it feels terrible, so i spit it out.

i figured out how to get all the meat out of the tail too, but can't really explain it. my description would sound funny. due to the amount of perversion here at LS1...........

    j.k.

    its funny.

I love making Shrimp Ka-Bobs... I put a few pieces of deer lion, tomatoes, onions and wrap them in bacon.

Generally I split the tail, remove the meat and throw away the shell. However if I do that around my asian friends it is considered rude as they eat the entire shrimp, tail, body, head, and antennas.... It all tastes good anyway.

To get the meat out of the shell. You bite the end of it. Then when you bite down on the meat you pull the tail and it comes apart.

It all depends on how they are cooked.

If they are fried then you wouldn't even know the difference. Sometimes they are good when grilled right. If they have been marinated for a while they also have good flavor.

It's like soft shell crab. Have you ever had them before. You eat the whole crab shell and all. After it's fried you can't tell your eating the shell.
