My driver side headlight motor was out and passed a cop here. He flipped around and turned on the lights. He was real nice and understood that i was at college and would get it fixed at home. He ran my license and came back. When he got back he asked "is that a roll cage?" I said yeah. he said " wow thats a nice set-up you have there what you have done to the engine?" I sat there for about 3 min just shootin the shit with him about cars. When he got a call he left but his last words where "I hope I never have to chase you in my Crown vic these things are slow!" I guess there are still some cool cops who are really car guys in disguise.

my experiences with cops within the past week...
1) last monday i was driving back to binghamton after going home for the weekend and i stupidly got myself a nice 100 in 65 ticket
2)saturday night i went to a sorority formal in PA and as i was walking out with the girl at the end of the night a cop wrote her a underage drinking ticket... douscher... couldnt let us just go back to the room

thats awesome man. only time i was pulled over in the red t/a a cop in a small town busted me for coming into town too fast. it drops from 55 to 40 all of a sudden, everyone does it but i guess he just noticed trans am and had to give me a ticket. i still go through that town at 55 or 60 in my lil gmc canyon and not once has a cop looked twice.

i once borrowed my moms car so she drove my trans am for a week. she got pulled over twice and was not speeding. one of the cops saw that she was 54 and said slow down. and the other said i didnt clock you but slow down. lol, she said i was doing 67 in a 65, the cop said oh sounded like you were going 90. my mom called me and said she could not belive i've never had a ticket!

100 in a 65? What are the laws up there? Down here that would be a suspension I'm pretty sure...

damn your fuckin lucky, most cops would have asked you to pop the hood and taken your car away. I got yanked over at a fuckin temporary truck stop, a motorcycle cop pulled me over, and asked me to back up to one of those chp trucks, and some asshole got me out of the car and proceeded to look under the hood, and under the car! your fuckin lucky these asses are lookin for the easy buck these days

yeah well i think it also had to do with the fact that im a ny resident and the ticket was in PA. He was very nice he clocked me at 110 but wrote me for 100... i was doing like 120 i think... i was jsut depressed bc that was the day i sold the WS6

So she was underage & drinking & he wrote her a ticket for it? Wow, what an ass!

i mean yeah... i was underage and very much drinking as well, and so were the other 80% of the kids at the formal that night.. it was fucekd up we were just walking back to the room and she was stumbling a little bit and he came up to us and stopped us... dousche...

Must be you go to school in Binghamton? I live just south of Elmira. I'm probably going to try and run the car at Skyview some friday night this summer. I need to get down to Vestal and try out Texas Roadhouse!

in vegas thats automatic wreckless driving, 6 month license suspension, and a escorted ride in the back of a metro police crown vic. Oh yea and impound fees.

In California you can only use C.A.R.B approved parts, which are the basic bolt ons. They also have rolling smog checks in which they pull over motorists at random and give them a smog check. You can say no to them as long as you are current on your tags. I have seen this twice, no b.s. But the Man cant see what you have modded inside the engine.
