did you guys see the "hands up" commercial yet? I had no idea they're making gullwing again and I almost dropped my jaw when they showed th car at the end

I hadn't seen either video before coming in this thread, but I saw a 2-page spread advertisement of it in Newsweek magazine a few weeks ago and fell in love instantly.

ive seen stuff about it in car magazines for a while now.

im not hating on the car, but i typically dont like mercedes. and its hard for me to take it seriously with a commercial like this.

It's hard for me to take mountain dew seriously when their commercial suggests that by drinking their product I will be able to win a headbutting contest with a mountain ram.

im pretty sure id be up to the task after drinking a couple mountain dews. the other commercial with the hand raising and what-not was more along the lines of what id expect. what does doing a barrel roll in a tunnel have to do with anything?

Sadly that is the way this world is going. Partly because the people who have the money to buy them do so to show off their wealth, also it had become faster than a stick and more cost affective. Twin disc clutch automatics are become as common as 6 speed transmissions. It won't be long before all cars are DOHC, direct injection, twin disc clutch automatics.... All in the name of fuel economy, power, and profits.
