sleeping problem
i have always been a light sleeper, and for the past year ive made it on 4 or 5 hours of sleep a night, but the last week or so im getting like 12 or 13 hours, im sleepin though alarms and people tryin to get me up....... its kinda startin to freak me out wakin up in the afternoon... and despite my best efforts i cant get back on a normal sleep schedule

what lifestyle changes have you made recently? started stopped any drugs?(including caffine and nicotine) anything else like that?

just a big one, been in camp pendleton, ca going though the field med course..... now im back in oklahoma finishing up my paper work to go reserve

4 to 5 hours is not a healthy sleeping pattern. your body is charging it's batteries, now that your stress level is lower.

12 hours isn't shit for sleep when you're dead tired...and i'm talking being extremely active for long periods of time on little to no sleep. There were times I literally fell asleep while on humps...my body was still moving but I was out.
You'll be fine bro...after a few long sleep sessions try to reestablish a 7-8hr sleep cycle and you'll be good to go.

do you wake up feeling rested or are you still tired when you get up? You want less sleep.....have some kids. Seriously though, if you're still tired waking up after that long it could be apnea or something along those lines.

try not smoking an hour or more before bed and see if that makes a difference. You might not be breathing real well and that's what's causing it or your lungs are kicking back all the stuff from throughout the day and that's causing you not to breath well.
