six stroke internal combustion engine.
1) intake of air and gas mix
2) compression of mix
3) power stroke
4) exhaust stroke (exhaust valve doesnt open, heat and pressure build up)
5) second power stroke as water is injected and turns to steam
6) second exhaust stroke (exhaust valve opens)

it works. it uses less fuel, and runs without a radiator or cooling system. the cam runs at 1/3rd engine speed.

Silver- 2003 GTI 1.8T :(
seems kinda neat... but i see a lot of the problems not getting worked out properly... main concerns i see are engine wear from constant cooling, the whole warm up period, and difference in power produced from each power stroke causing possible odd surging/uneven acceleration
and a lot of extra technology going along with it...
interested in seeing how this moves along though

Sandstone- 09 VE Omega Int Dual Fuel
Might be a benefit in a 'constant rev' engine like a generator which runs for long hours

Interesting but seems complicated and not very practical.

seen that before. i'm sure that they will continue to refine it and work on it...perhaps it will see some industrial applications.

also my main concern is it is being developed way too late, right now people are focusing on alternative fuels, not hybrid ideas. we need to try and get rid of gasoline and fossil fuels completely.

my main concern is that water freezes.........so if you injecting h20 it has to be in a liquid state in cold weather so whats in the water to keep it from freezing?? Can it run on a alcohol h20 mix? whats that do for the steam aspect?? sounds retarded if you ask me....good idea but fail
