selling the truck....... tell me what you think

i want to sale my truck, i dont need to. but my reason is i have had it for two years and hardly use it. plus i want to buy a house!

it books for 28k but i'm asking 27k. thats about the going rate for my year/make/model/miles all over the internet.

i don't want to take less, but what do you think? i mean i know people are looking for deals. but i cant just give it away i owe what it books for. i guess i'll sit on it for a while since i'm not hurting to sale it.

If you owe book value, you are not likely to break even.

Right now it is a buyer's market as a brand new vehicle can often bought for what a good used car books for.

I told myself I'd never buy another brand new car. But after rebates and incentives, I got my new 2011 for less than what an equivalent used one "books" for.

You can always just put it out there and see if you get any takers.

yea its out there. i put myself in a shoppers shoes and looked around and can not find another truck like mine for 25.

it's only been a couple days i'll wait and see. i'm not going to pay 3000 to sell my own truck.
