Question Saw a weird C6 'Vette today. Anyone see this?

So, I'm pulling out of Wendy's today, which just so happens to be across from the GM Technical Center of Warren, Michigan. I see lots of nice GM cars every week, but today I saw one I haven't seen yet.

This C6 had 3 vents/slots on the front fender, just before the door hinge. They looked similar to gills on a shark. Just above those vents/slots, was some chrome trim, but I couldn't catch what it said on it. It also had some rims I have never seen on a 'Vette before, but I do believe they were factory.

I don't know if this was a new package for the Corvette, but those are the only features I can describe because its all that caught my eye compared to a normal Corvette. Has anyone else seen one of these or know what kind of 'Vette it is?

Are you sure it wasn't a minivan or something?

Design element throwback to the stingray era? They already tried to bring back the old Camaro and failed, so I hope not.

The only thing I didn't see were the 2 stripes on the fender...or I just didn't notice them.

Underneath all the shiny/pretty it's a base steel-frame LS3-powered 'Vette, to which are fitted a mix of Z51 performance package parts (spring rates, closer ratio manual transmission gearing and shorter axle ratio on the automatic), and Z06 bits (front and rear fascias, hood, anti-roll bars, brake rotors and calipers, wider tires and the bodywork to cover them). The dry-sump oiling system from the Z06 and ZR1 is also fitted to manual Grand Sports, which means these special motors will now be hand assembled alongside their big-brother stablemates, the LS7 and LS9 engines, in Wixom Michigan, each by a single technician who will sign his or her work. The only major parts they had to tool up were the front fenders, which feature double-gill cove styling and are made of RIM plastic like the base car's, the rear quarter panels, unique new wheels, and the actual springs and dampers, which are tailored to the GS's unique weight and characteristics (they ride almost exactly like the old Z51's).

Yeah, it definitely caught my attention, especially since it was about 20 feet in front of me, lol. I reached for my phone to take a quick photo, but I had left it at work, so no luck there.
