well...under-powered for as much as they weigh. i agree with you there. i think if they were planning on it weighing so much, they should have bumped it up to about 500 hp. i did hear somewhere that for 2010 they are going with a 6.4L Hemi. is that wrong or what? i haven't researched it.

Well, then they would be almost up with they're more high end cars. The Camaro is going to wiegh a shit load I would guess. But they cant just thorw HP at it, because then they would start running with the precious Corvette... in HP numbers anyway.

Remember when the 97 Vette got the LS1, and the F-body didnt get to use them till the next year??? The big 3 will always have cars they make to be their "front runners".

At least in my mind. ANd 425 HP is not very low.

My friends 300C got down to low 11's before he busted a half-shaft. Turns out that's the weakest link in the drivetrain. 11's in a 2 ton+ car with only gears and spray (150 shot).

Yea, the 6.4L is looking very likely for some of the 2010 SRT8s. Rumor has it the HP will be in the 480-500 area. Anything can happen as far as scrapping plans goes. But for now, it still looks good even with gas prices being what they are. I personally hope it comes to be. I'll be trading my 08 Jeep in for sure.
