Was Sarge a Fraud?

I have always wondered this. I remember him big the man back here in the day, but i left the board a didn't post much for a long while........after coming back he was gine and i would always here little slick comments about him in other threads about him being a fraud. What the hell happened with him here?

Seriously? A fraud in what way? There are plenty of people that have moved on from these forums. Are they all frauds too? And yes, I have had contact with Sarge since he decided to put LS1.com behind him and is very happy playing Grandpa now

Anyone that spent time talking to him aside from the forum would tell you he's a good dude. I dont miss many people from the forums but i do miss him......and preston.

you still see him? I haven't heard from him in a couple years. Last I heard he had a kid on the way then nothing after that.

Wouldn't say he's a fraud but if you google what he says two things always come up...his posts on LS1.com and something VERY similar on Bob the Oil Guy...I've flipped through a lot of his comments since I've been on this forum and he said some pretty intelligent stuff, just not sure it was all his ideas/info.

How could anyone want to spend time with him....he was always a prick on the forums......and always had the i'm better than everyone else mantra....aren't your arms tired yet from swinging from his nuts for so long....I remember you being one of his biggest supporters on here....could never understand why since you seem to know your shit.....and he seems to just regurgitate what he read elsewhere on the interwebs....

Sarge was a cool guy with a big heart. He wanted nothing more than to give helpful advice to his fellow gear heads... I'm sure most of us have learned something from him whether he repeated something from another site or not... I owe him thanks for a lot of the knowledge that I picked up...

he acted like a know it all prick....theres a difference between wanting to give helpful advice to his fellow gear heads...and being arrogant while doing it.
