Salvage work....the underwater kind

So I do salvage diving and a couple of weekends ago I was hired by a town to retrieve some stuff from their river and clean it up and check out some of the stuff I found.



That is actually a small portion of what I brought up. I found:

A 4ft x 6ft sign
A 2ft x 6ft banner
BlackBerry
Sunglasses
Restaurant drinking glass
Beer bottles
1000gal fuel tank
Huge cinder blocks
Bricks
Goblets
Serving tray
Urn
Candle sticks
A dock or house wall frame...or something of the sort it was pretty big probably about 20-30ft x 8 or 10ft
That's all I can remember but there was tons more stuff, it is amazing what was down there

Yes I get to keep most of what I find. The only times I don't is if I am retrieving something specific for someone.

Back in 95' after Hurricane Opal blew through Ft Rucker the earth damn broke on the lake they had and emptied it. They found a couple of Jeeps, a howitzer, and other stuff that had been dropped from helicopters performing sling load ops.

The yellow or blue rope? The blue one is a wired comm unit attached to my full face mask. The yellow one is attached to another diver that doesn't have a wired comm unit since there is a current we wouldn't want anyone swept into the river downstream.

A girl goes to a tattoo parlor and gets a tattoo of Buck Owens on top of her left thigh and Roy Clark on top of her right.

When the artist is done, she is very upset that they don't look at all like Buck Owens and Roy Clark. The artist is adamant that they are good.

She goes outside and spots a bum sitting against the wall. She goes up to him, pulls her pants down and shows him the tattoos.
