Run in with State Patrol!
So I just got off shift at 3:00am my time and just worked a 13 hour day in 100% Humidity and 90+ degree heat and was in a hurry to get home. Cruising jamming out to Sevendust doing about 70 mph in a 55 mph highway when I see what appears to be a LEO approaching me (Headed towards me) As soon as he passed I saw his brake lights and him start to turn around so I just pulled my car over, turned on the hazards, shut the car off, turned my interior light on to give him a better view into the car. He approached and told me I must have did this once or twice I tell him I use to be an MP and know the drill We shot the shit since I'm in Private Security and he let me rock out once my info cleared Nice guy, and very thankful he let me go because that ticket wouldn't have been very cheap and added insurance premiums. Usually State Troopers will ticket everyone around these parts, even off duty cops but he must not have been in a ticket mood tonight So there you have it, my little story!

they are the biggest Men I have ever seen. I
wouldn't want to fight them!

State Patrol is the only one that ever pulles me over. In My Truck= "did you know your window tint is two dark" Camaro= "you need to put your front tag on, oh and your windows look very dark" GTP= your exhaust is very loud and you need your front tag. Do these guys have anything better to do? I'm from WI also.

I'm from WI also and state patrol did same for me with my car. Told me my tint was too dark and wanted to know why I had no front plate. Gave me a warning though for going 10 over and then said "nice car" as he walked away.

My last potential run in was when my cat back fell off on the Maine Turnpike...
There I was about 90 miles from home, exhaust pieces all over, still wearing my fire jacket, decals and stickers all over the car and up behind me comes a Trooper...
I am fortunate I have gray hair because he basically stood there and laughed his butt off and then offered to make a call for me if I needed help. I declined but did request that he let his fellow officers know that I was heading North and to cut me some slack for having open headers on the street.

My ticket was in 2007.
88 in a 65 (23 over)
$201 fine ($176 for the speeding, $25 for more than 1 moving violation in 6 months)
Yes in the camero. Yes it was running. Yes it managed to go that fast, somehow.

Last week got a 79 in a 65, cost me $145. State trooper in VA was very nice compared to what PA troopers are like.
