Exclamation RIAA now says that ripping CDs for your own use is not fair use

Well, this is just getting retarded, now they dont want to let you make your OWN backups even.. what is this world coming to lol

Cliffs notes... RIAA now wants to make it illegal to rip Audio from cds, for your own personal use... ie backups, putting the files on your ipod, etc.

I'm so sick of the RIAA, who the fuck made them the record Gods? Better yet, why does what they say matter so much?

Not that anything the RIAA says will change anything, because im sure they learned the first time, there is no way to stop whats going on. Its just like you said its the fact that they think they are the "record gods"

The RIAA might as just well give up. People will still find a way around it. I'm waiting for them to charge me to listen to my own FM radio! I can see it now.........gotta have a paid subscription to listen to radio.

    "Record Gods".....I love it!!
