Quick help with interview follow up...

Hey all... I had an interview for a job last week The interview was okay. I am to follow up today to find out what he decided. What should be in this letter? I'd call, but he said that email is his preference.

I would think they would call you if you received the job.
I would just write, "Good morning, I would like to know the status of my job interview. I am sending this request via e/mail as per your instructions. Thank you again! Sincerely, ....."

My neighbor is a hiring exec person for higher paying jobs than I'm qualified for. I dropped off the letter with her so she could review it and I'll see what she's got to say.

I'm currently working at just a job. I'm working as a forklift driver at Coors. There's NO perks for working there. It's simply a pay check and a not so large one of those. I work every day 11pm to 7am, my next day off will be May 20th... maybe
