A few companies make the Component cables for the PS2.

Component Cables available at every electronics store. I'll tell you it makes a little difference but not too much.

Which game are trying to turn progressive scan on?

Component cables are what you probably need. They are expensive for the good ones.

Try buying an HDMI cable, those are expensive.

I just bought another one this weekend. One HDMI for my HD-DVR, One HDMI for my DVD Changer, and one set of component cables for my PC. Ouch!

I bought a $85 HDMI cable when I got my new TV. When the cable company came out to hook me up with HDTV they asked if I needed another HDMI cable to hook up the new DVR box. They said it would cost $11 if they brought me one. I said sure why not. I have switched the $85 with the $11 HDMI and there is no difference in the video. Unless you are looking at a long distance there is no reason to buy an expensive HDMI cable.

I have HDMI and I haven't seen much difference between hdmi and component besides the cleaner looking install....no where near as much visually as between component and RCA cables.

But you can get decently cheap hdmi cables if it's a off brand....monster cables are a rip off.

If you have blu-ray it won't play movies in 1080P without an HDMI cable on 1080i.
