Programming a trunking scanner
I just got a radio shack pro-96 digital trunking scanner and I'm trying to program in Phoenix police frequencies. The only reason Im asking here is becuase I know I'll get a quick response, the pro-96 is common, and Im to lazy to sign up on a scanner forum.
I got all the freqencies here: http://www.radioreference.com/apps/d...=100#cid-10025 - if you scroll about 1/2 way down you see all the phoenix PD frequencies.
What I dont understand is if these are on a trunk system or not. all the frequencies say they are "FM" mode but above the Phoenix PD table is says "Phoenix PD and City Services are on Regional Wireless Cooperative (RWC) Trunk System. Project 25 Standard". So I dont know whether to put it on mode "FM" or "MO"
All of the frequencies have an FCC license call sign. If you click on the call sign it comes up with a list of about 15-20 more frequencies.
Right now I just got the frequencies from the link above programmed in on mode "FM" and I can hear transmissions but it never seems like I can here both sides of a conversation. What do I do??
