power window help

my driver window will go down then when I go to roll it up it wont go or it will go part way and stop. Checked the switch and wires to the switch and replaced switch 16.89 only to find out it was something else. That's what I get for being impatient. what other things could be wrong tried doing search but noyhing came up. saw a post about window fixes the other day but I can't find it now. Please help...

been there, done that, and going to do it again soon
