    Pl3 hi def?

    Can you play HD dvd on your pl3. i you can play blue ray dvds, but are they the same? I want to b uy one for my son but i want to use it also for dvds

    Tough crowd in here.. Can the PS3 play HD DVD's? No the PS3 can only play Blue Ray. I thought and with the tough crowd in here will be corrected. I thought HD DVD lost. Meaning the standard is now Blue Ray. Kinda like the Beta/VHS format challenge. Like we all know VHS won that one.
