    Question Pig Raoster Questions?

I got a wild hair up my ass, and bought a pig roaster, made out of an old oil tank on a trailer. Do any of you have any awesome receipes that I can try out? It can be used as a large charcoal grill also. I use to have a pig roast every summer, but always just bought the pig all done and had it delivered. I thought that it would be fun to roast a pig myself. How long to cook at what temp etc.. I found some on the web, but wanted to know from some people with experience.

    Thanks, Jeff Jones

When we went to Hawaii we went to a luau and they cooked a pig in the ground with big leaves, it was pretty cool from what I remember with all the mai tai's and shaking hips that made my head dizzy...

Two weekends ago we roasted a 60lb pig on a grill like that for about 6 hours at 320 degrees. Cover it in dry rub, get your favorite bbq sauce and let the beer drinkin begin! It was the first one I ever did but Im sure there are some Texans on here somewhere that can give you all the secrets. Let us know how it turns out!
