i've come upon some extra time and i decided i want to break out my 35mm and digital just for the hell of it ... any up and coming new techniques to try out? i've been looking a lot at that HDR tone mapping and i may try that out ... anything else to ventue into?

What kinda of camera do you have?

I have a Canon G9, that I shoot with the most.

Had a 40D, sold it.

Trying to move into full frame, probably a 5D Mk II, maybe a Nikon though, not sure.

i have a canon rebel 35mm and im not quite sure what my digital is at all, haha it's a canon of some sort i think

HDR is alright if you know how to do it properly. Just get out and shoot there are tons of techiques you just need to play with them.

i havn't shot anything since i finished art school two years ago and ive been wanting to but havn't had the chance. i figure just have at it but didn't know if there was any new techniques and what not.
