    One Lucky SOB

    You guys will love this...
After I got my 02 Z28, my neighbor just had to have one. First of all, let me tell you that he is probably the luckiest guy I know. He went to the same used car lot that I bought mine at, and found a T/A that he fell in love with. Pewter '02, T-Tops, A4, you know...the norm. They were asking $15k. He got it for $13 with a 3 month bumper to bumper warrenty.
A month later his rear end goes out. A brand new one was put in for free. 2 weeks later he takes it in because of the normal "ticking" of the engine. They replaced it for FREE!!! Yeah, a brand new LS1! A week later he complains about the shifting. This time, they tried to write him off as just being picky. As the dealership took it for a test drive, the trany goes out. A new one got put in for FREE!
At this point, I'm thinking I bought the wrong damn car!
Anyway, about 6 months after that his car got keyed. Now his whole car just got painted. So now he is driving around in a basically brand new 2002 Ws6.
Yesterday, he stops at a stoplight. The old man that was next to him looks down out of his truck and says "nice car, I'd like to have that in my garage next to my '69". He asked him to pull over to talk about it. My neighbor told him everything that had been done to the car. They exchange info and such, then today the guy comes over and gives him $20k...YES $20,000...for the car.
    I hate my neighbor!

I don't know the exact details of the transaction. I'll prob talk to him this weekend. I just can't believe some of the lucky kind of crap that happens to this guy. It truly pisses me off.

They told him that when they tore it down, all the pushrods were mushroomed and they found metal shavings in the heads. It sounded fine to me when he first got it. Hell, mine makes more engine noise than his did.

Invested in stocks? My grandmother actually won the lotto, in Thailand, bough 2-3 houses and an apartment complex. Sold one house and an apartment then moved here years later.

Nope just white trash spent till they were broke again. In less than a year they were back trying to borrow money to pay bills. They are nothing more than dumbasses.. Could'nt even afford to burry their elderly mother that died last year..

It was a WS6. He just always comes across good deals. He had to talk the guy into the warrenty he got with the car. He paid an extra $1000 bucks for it.
Don't get me wrong, he is a good kid. If someone has to have good luck with stuff, I guess I'm glad it's him and not some deadbeat.

Had you purchased it, at least with how life works, everything would have went bad after the warranty!
