ok need some opinions quick!

ok so long story short on xmass i got involved in a hit and run, it pretty much totaled my 1991 acura integra. it sucks because that car has been my baby for such a long long time.

now, i'll always be a die hard f-body fan for as long as i live, but i think when the smoke clears i'll have about 6k from the insurance and my own money to get a new car and i don't know what i should look at. 6k won't get me an ls1 so i am not going to bother with an LT1. sorry i love em but they're suuuch a pain at times if you can't afford to make em right.

so i've been lookin at a couple different cars and what should i try and buy? it'd have to be decently fuel effencent, (20's mpg-ish) and if at all possible a 5 speed, idk it pains me to ask this but i was thinkin perhaps an acura TL-s? or a 3000gt? late model v6 maro?

Where didi you get the idea you cant get an ls1 car for 6 grand? I got mine for 4

. All you have to do is look and be patient. Buy a 200$ beater for now to drive, and hunt, and you will find one. Im not the only one on here that paid less then 6k for thier car, either. Don't settle for something ou dont really want. Good luck...

Why not settle for an LT1? They arent that bad, easy to mod up and still pretty powerful or just buy another beater save up a little bit more while working. The camaros should be getting a little bit cheaper the closer it gets to the new 09 release
