Not in the same jurisdiction that is. He was found responsible for their deaths in civil court because the burden of proof is much lower.
I was in 7th grade when the trial ended, and even though I thought he did it (and still do) I didn't think the prosecution proved beyond a reasonable doubt that he did it.

I truly hope people resist temptation(which most probably won't) and refuse to buy his book. This whole thing stinks, period. I agree with what gwballin said, I still think to this day he was and is guilty, but the prosecution dropped the ball big time.
Its funny how karma works though, someday, someday

I agree that he can not be tried in the same jurisdiction again.
California Criminal Court - he was found not guilt so can't be tried there again
California Civil Court - he was found guilt of wrongful death and was ordered to pay the victim's families a settlement
Federal Criminal Court - he was not tried at all, but could be provided the feds think he is guilty of a federal offense. I wouldn't expect that however.

That trial had little to do with money. It was all raced based. That is why 4 black people in my department cheered when he was aquited. Why would you cheer? I wouldn't have clapped if he would have been shown guilty. The fact of the matter is those 4 people associated with OJ because of the color of his skin. The cared less about actual guilt or innocence and more about seeing a black man actually beat the system. I feel sorry for Nicole and Ron's families. What a sad day that was for the whole legal system.

I bet he makes a lot of money off the book and then gets sued by Nichole's family and the Goldman's again(which I hope). Their not happy about this book. Everyone knows he did it and got away with it. It would have probaly been in his best intrest not to publish this book. To me, the name of the book just screams "I'm guilty."
