Hell no, I already picked the Bronco's....I'm not that stupid...
This weeks game that sucks is NYG vs PHI. Both suck......Last edited by SMWS6TA; 10-01-2013 at 06:28 AM.

This week is tough... The voices in my head and I could argue nearly every game going either way (except for the Broncos/Cowboys game of course)

Don't get me wrong, like Orion betting for/against the sAints. I would love and cheer my ass off for the Cowboys to win, but I like cash in hand at the end of the season better.
So if the win, it's a nice loss of a pick because I don't think anyone on the pick'em league will pick Cowboys either.

denver and dallas is a trap game.....wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole. I'm with Terry.....I could argue for either team on almost every game this week. Rolling the dice again this week it seems. These are the weeks that if you can pick the underdog picks you can make up some serious ground but the problem I see going in is that some of the underdogs are actually who I would consider the favorites this week. Buffalo is an underdog to Cleveland because the clowns won the last 2 but really Buffalo should win that game.

right....I pick the saints hell or high water. I think what he's thinking of is when I pick atlanta because then it's win/win. I would never jinx my own team by picking against them......I'd rather just lose the point. Well....unless I was a JAX fan or something like that then you lose a point every week.

Full clemency is always granted to Jacksonville fans in such matters. They can pick the other team if they want.
In Dallas' case though, if you pick them every week during the season you're almost assured of getting 8 points out of the deal either way.

Just in this case the chances are Dallas losing are almost 100%. Even I'll admit it.

It's really hard picking your team to lose. You keep thinking that this time, all those rookies will get it together and meld with everyone else, that Ben will quit handing the ball over to the other team on a silver platter, and we'll all rejoice once again after we win...
Maybe next year

true story. and IMO, Denver needs to lose a few along the way this season. It will help get the target off their back to some extent, and they'll need to be knocked down a peg or two if they want to do anything in the playoffs. If by some miracle they go 19-0 this year, then my prior statement shall be null and void.
FWIW I still have Denver at 13-3 on the year, plus or minus 1. Chiefs have an easy schedule and I think they'll go 10-6 or 11-5 and make the playoffs. And Denver always has a sloppy game in Arrowhead. We could very well lose that game. Barely won there last year.

I never said we needed to lose to the cowboys, but it is possible. I still think you should be obligated to pick your team this weekend regardless. And btw, I can change your avatar at will anyway, so you might as well at least do the avatar bet with me

But I'm choosing the Bronco's.....to win...
Fine Avatar bet, If Cowboys win I'll sport a Bronco's Avatar for a week, if Bronco's win, you get to have "Romo Lover" avatar on yours for a week....
Deal?
