Not a True Member Yet

I have been searching for a 2000 or newer Trans Am, so until I do get one I won't be a true member. It is hard looking for one in good condition that is at a dealership so that I may trade in my car, but once I find one that I like I will be talking with you guys more often. As for now I became a member to get information on these cars and figure out as much as possible so I don't get taken advantage of. Hopefully I'll get one soon and maybe join a local group as well. If you all have any tips for me let me know, and now I must go back and continue reading past forums.

welcome. i think that if you are an enthusiast or have information to share about f-bodies, you can consider yourself a member. of course, i am only a jr. member. just watch out for the *NWS* threads...they mean it.

WHAO! i suggest avoiding a dealership. That's assuring a 20% markup over worth and normally no warrenty. Unless you find an unbelieveable deal, i suggest finding one that is being privately sold by some old guy

Yeah I know what you mean, but some private sellers I have talked to and checked out have had higher prices than the dealerships. I feel if I go in with all the data in hand that I'll get a decent deal, also I have a trade in which is my main concern since I can't do anything untill I get rid of it. Unless I find someone who wants to trade for it.
