No sound on my PC. WTF?!

I decided to try to get the damn 3.5" floppy drive to work earlier. No luck. Closed the case back up and now I have no sound!!

I uninstalled & reinstalled the drivers, but I still get nothing. I don't get this. I did not touch anything besides the god damn floppy drive.

All connections are tight
I put the card in another slot. Still nothing
I uninstalled & reinstalled the drivers. Still nothing

Did you check the other "obvious" stuff? (i.e. Are the speakers powered/plugged in? Are they connected to the sound card correctly? Is the volume turned up on the speakers as well as on the PC?)
