New Mustang with GLASS TOP?

I was at Auto Zone today and saw the new model Mustang with a glass top. Much Like the Scion TC. Was this a custom job or a new option. I know the car is brand new, because it had the updated mustang logo.

Looked the same as every other Mustang except for the roof.

Its an option. My dad works for ford, and he told me its about a $3,000 option, due to the reinforcement they had to do.

It took me a while but I found it on the ford site. $2,000. I'll pass.

when you click on the link it shows the Bullitt mustang .. What I wonder is why does it have to be a special car ?? why cant you just order a normal GT like that ??

there was an old thread about this....it's going to add weight to that car...hopefully it won't heat up the car too much. there was also a hood being made for the mustang that had a glass window, kind of mocking the ZR1 hood.
