New 05 Silverado's. Need advice.
Hey guys,
I posted this over in the Truck section, but I figured I would get more responses here, because I need some advice. Here is my post:
A lot that is about 30 miles away from me still has 3 new 05's that the guy told me he could sell for around 24~26K. Here is the link below. Let me know if you think this would be a good deal. Two of them are white exterior, which I am not really crazy about, but one is a Crew Cab, the other Extended Cab,and the third one is Birch ( which is kinda of a silver/grey color I think, and also a Crew Cab)....Thx for any advice!!

Yeah...I mean..they have 5 they list....MSRP...but sez call for special clearance pricing...so I can't tell you what that is obviously....sounds to me like you have done your due dilligence....I know various regions have wild price swings...like here in S. Texas...Pick Ups are KING....so the competition is unreal...they cut each others throat to make a sale on a PU...Why dont you call a dealer down here and just compare...and have you compared with the 2005 GMC's?
Look at the 06 pricing...

And the 07's

I would hold off or shop around. I picked up my new 06 Silverado 1500 CC (crew cab), 3LT (loaded every option), LQ9 (6.0L V8 same engine as the Silverado SS), VortecMax Pack, sunroof, on-star, XM, Leather the works I picked up this truck for just over $30k with 7 miles on it back in April.
Dealerships down here in Florida have plents of 06's they are ready to deal.
Good luck
Sean

Here...for some reason the 07 link wasnt working right...so here is a screen shot...
My point is...you may look around outside your area...often times ( as you can see the 07's loaded are about the same price your being quoted for a 05) the pricing justifys a lil road trip for more truck

Black, Black- 2011 "Generic" Gasser
I have 05 2500 crew Cab ( Did I mention it LOVES the gas?) Anyway, awesome truck, but with the 1500 I think you can get it at a better price. Especially seeing the redesigned ones are on the way.
Good Luck!

I think you should be able to get a slightly better deal on an 05 (the 07 model year starts soon, even though 07's are already rolling out).

you should be able to get that truck for about 20-21k with the new body style trucks coming out you can get a better deal in about a month or so for an 05-06 new
