today is third anniversy of my grand fathers death he was the one that i get my love affection for cars from, he was one of my best friends, i still remeber when he took me to my first car show i must have only been 8 or 9 years old when i was old enough to get a car he bought my first car it was 88 blazer,when i moved away to college he went with me half way through my freshman year he got sick doctor said he had 6 months to live so i moved home too, he suffered for 6 more years . when he passed away he left a large sum of money to my mom who gambled it all awayin six months in fact this week she pawned some old coins he had to go to casinos.well today is my birthday which happens to be the day he died so everyyear my mom calls not wish me happy birthday but to remind my grandfather died well you know what today im not answering the phone its my day damn it im 30 and i deserve it so today im gonna go visit my grandfathers grave which i can only bring myself to do once a yearand to hell with her

Atleast you have your memories and no one can take that away from you. Cherish what you cant and dont let anyone take that away from you. I miss my grandfather as we did all kinds of things together. He taught me to drive. We went bowling.

I agree, no one will ever take your fond memories of him. Take today to realize what an amazing person he was and be happy that he was an important part of your life. Also take today to treat yourself to something nice, after all its your birthday.
